Increasing Performance Confidence Tips:

YAWN, STRETCH and BREATHE

Year 4 Band Program

Mr Malyusz and some of the other Instrumental Music Staff have made available videos that include technical skills for specific instruments and rhythmic activities which will certainly compliment the Bucket Drumming Unit of Inquiry. I would ask that if you have an opportunity to engage in these activities, they can be found on the Year 4 Specialist Canvas Page.  Please contact Mrs Campbell gcampbell@trinity.nsw.edu.au to arrange a suitable time to collect your instrument from School if you did not take it home at the end of Term 2. Parents can collect instruments from Ms Gabbe at Reception who will bring it to you at the Llandilo gate.

Theory of Music

Thanks to Mrs Trynes for reorganising the Theory lessons to be able to support the Year 5 and 6 students as they embark on synchronous learning. Once we have further advice from AMEB as to when these exams are likely to be held, Mrs Trynes will relay this information.

AMEB Piano Results

Congratulations to the thirteen students who sat their Piano For Leisure Examinations in June as the results were outstanding.  The boys sat exams from Preliminary Grade through to Seventh Grade there was no result lower than a B+ with the highest an A+.  Well done to you all and to the hard work and direction from Mrs Trynes and Mrs Swanton.

King’s Peak Global On-line Classical Music Competition

Congratulations to Jaemin Yoo (Year 6) who entered this competition and in the Age Group 11-13 Years Viola Section he was awarded FIRST PLACE and in the Violin Section Jaemin was awarded SECOND PLACE. Well done Jaemin.

Time for More

Chamber Ensemble, Chamber Orchestra, Concert Band, Chapel Band and Trinity Singers, Junior and Primary Choir all have activities in Time For More. So if you have time, check in with these activities to stay up to date with repertoire.
