Term 3 Chapel Update!
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control; against such things there is no law.”
Galatians 5:22-23
Chapel this term has been all about fruit! Not apples, bananas, grapes or watermelons. But the Fruit of the Spirit.
Each week, we have focused on a particular fruit and have encouraged the boys to put that fruit into practice in practical ways. So far, we have learnt about love, joy, peace, patience, and this week was the week of KINDNESS. Boys were provided with challenges each day to show kindness to themselves, their families, their friends, their teachers, and the environment. It brought me deep joy to hear so many boys talk about how they showed kindness this week.
An extra way of hearing about the KINDNESS that was happening in our school community this week was through our KINDNESS WALL Padlet. Boys were encouraged to share anonymous KIND messages and acts of KINDNESS they had seen or done. Can I encourage you to have a little read through our KINDNESS WALL and be encouraged by just how KIND the boys at our Junior School are!

A BIG thank you to all the boys (and staff!) who worked extra hard at being extra KIND this week. In a term that has been interrupted with the chaos of COVID, it is a true joy to be a part of a community where KINDNESS is so evident.
And while KINDESS week may be over, let’s continue to remember to be KIND to ourselves, and be KIND to others.
