Mock Trial Victory
Trinity has continued its successful run in the Mock Trial competition, winning its quarter-final against William Clarke College of Kellyville.
The Trinity team won in fine fashion 199-167, and will now progress to the semi-finals, to be held before November 26 against as-yet unknown opposition.
Trinity took the part of the plaintiff in the imaginary civil legal case, in which their client’s car was stolen from a mechanic.
The team included Year 12 barristers and witnesses William M (12WH), Keith K(12H), Daksh C (12He), Josh P and Dylan W (12La), along with two Year 10s “off the bench” Liam W (10Ar) and Chris K (10La).
Year 10 support crew and researchers included William T (10WH), James H (10He) and Ben Z (10He).
Geography Head of Faculty Adrian Shipp said: “I am incredibly proud of this team, especially considering a number of the boys had completed their Year 12 IBD exams in the days beforehand.
“We now have a great opportunity ahead of us with these outgoing Year 12 students completely free to dedicate their time to the competition.”
