Year 7 (2022) Orientation Day
It was wonderful to welcome our Year 7 (2022) boys on Orientation Day, Friday 19 November. The boys were hosted by Housemasters – Middle School, House Captains and Peer Support leaders, and experienced a range of activities during the day. These included a Chapel service and House and School orientation, swimming and library sessions. The boys learned more about the School’s mission and ethos, Bible studies groups, and sport and co-curricular activities from teachers and student leaders. Recess and lunch gave the boys the opportunity to refresh, to play and to connect with peers, student leaders and their Housemasters.
The School’s mission is to provide boys with a thoroughly Christian education in mind, body and spirit. Orientation Day is designed to give the boys some insight into the breadth of experiences that the School offers. The Chapel service is a celebration of the Christian foundation and orientation of life at Trinity. It is symbolic that the boys began their Middle and Senior School journey together at Trinity in this way and will finish, as young men graduating from Year 12 on Valedictory Day, with a Chapel service.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, parents and carers were not able to be present in person on site. As such, a recording of the parent briefing was made available via the Year 7 Orientation webpage on the School’s website. Through this presentation, parents had the opportunity to learn more about Year 7 and the Middle School from senior members of staff. Click here to access the webpage.
We look forward to welcoming the Year 7 (2022) boys next year and supporting them in their growth and development over the ensuing years.
