TGSACU – Awards to Senior Cadets
Our Cadet Unit recognised the outstanding achievements of five senior cadets this week during presentations at both Trinity and Meriden.
Each year Trinity nominates students for an ADF Long Tan Youth Leadership and Teamwork Award. This award recognises students who demonstrate leadership and teamwork within both the school and the broader community, and who display strong values, such as doing one’s best, respect for others and, to use the Australian vernacular – “mateship”. These values are considered integral to both the ADF and Australian society.
This week, we presented this award on behalf of the ADF, to Davide Eboli.
At the end of Term 2 last year, our Cadet Unit conducted promotions courses at the Field Studies Centre. Each year, following these courses, Cadet Units are invited to put forward the names of cadets who excelled in their endeavours, for a Commander’s Commendation. Across our Unit, both Meriden and Trinity are presenting these Commendations and sharing these achievements with our School communities this week.
The Trinity Grammar School Army Cadet Unit presented these Commendations to the following cadets:
- Cadet Warrant Officer Class 2, Ty Garaci – posted in 2022 as Company Sergeant Major, Charlie Company
- Cadet Warrant Officer Class 1, Curtis Sioulas – posted in 2022 as Regimental Sergeant Major for our Unit
Congratulations to these boys.
