News from The Arthur Holt Library
Earlier this week we were fortunate to hold several Wide Reading lessons on the Quad where the Year 7 students enjoyed reading their favourite books in the sun.
Now that term break is upon us we see it as a time to relax, reflect, refresh and read! The Arthur Holt Library has fantastic new titles for students, staff and also for parents. Parents can set up their own account in our borrowing system – or borrow books through their sons’ accounts. We are always happy to recommend books and supply reading lists and source books to suit the fussiest and most avid readers.
Here are some of our recent favourties which would make great holiday reading:
- The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune
- My Brother Ben by Ben Carnavas
- The Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles
- The Case That sSopped The Nation by Peter Edwell
- The Gosling Girl by Jacqueline Roy
- Only A Monster by Vanessa Len
- Cooper Not Out by Justin Smith
- League of Liars by Astrid Scholte
- Home And Other Hiding Places by Jack Ellis
- The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley
- Exit Through The Gift Shop by Maryam Master
A reminder: If your son has received an overdue fine, please encourage him to return his library books next term and we will refund the account.
