“Trinity boys selected in NSWCIS and NSW Metro U/16 Team.”
On the back of a strong showing for Trinity and CAS Firsts this season, Jesse Edwards (10WH) was selected in the NSWCIS Team. On Monday the CIS team headed to Hills Basketball Stadium to play in the NSW All Schools Championship against CHS (Public Schools) and CCC (Catholic Schools) where the NSW All Schools Team would be selected.
Jesse performed exceptionally well on the day playing strong defence and knocking down ‘3s’ and making the most of his opportunities against boys two and three years older. CIS had a successful day, defeating both the CCC (92-84) and CHS (93-68), with five boys from CIS making the NSW All Schools Team.
Myles Buvac’s (9WJ) hard work and his selection in the Trinity Firsts this season was validated with him picked as one of the ten boys to represent the NSW Metropolitan under 16 Boys Team at the Australian Championships. He will trek across the country to Perth, Western Australia in the upcoming holidays to compete against the best basketballers in the country.
