Denham Court Scholarship 2023
The Denham Court Scholarship applications for students who have attained Grade 3 or above on an orchestral instrument are due by Friday 21st October and must be endorsed by the Instrumental Music Teacher before submitting. No Late entries will be accepted. Once all applications have been accepted, Mrs Campbell will notify of the one piano accompaniment rehearsal supported by the school with Ms Welsh and the audition time. Any further accompaniment rehearsals will be at the parental expense and paid directly to Ms Welsh. Auditions will be held on Tuesday 8th November commencing at 9am in the Mozart Room. Students who learn externally to the School are eligible to apply as long as they meet the criteria.
Royal School of Church Music
Next Tuesday Trinity Singers will participate in the Royal School of Church Music Junior Schools Choral Festival at St. Andrew’s Cathedral so please ensure you have responded to the email from Campus Administration. The participating schools in this wonderful choral event will be The Kings School, Arden Anglican School, SCEGGS and St Andrew’s Cathedral School. We will depart the Prep at 2:40pm.
Concerto Competition
Preparatory School students will be entered into the Infant or Junior School Competition sections. String/piano heats will be held at the Preparatory School on Tuesday 1st November from 11am. Please CLICK HERE for the Application form or collect a copy from the Music Centre. The application forms are to be returned to Music Admin Office by Wednesday 26th October. No late entries will be accepted. Please CC Mrs Campbell into the online entry form response to Music Administration so that she can then allocate the heat time at the Preparatory School. Mr Kinda will be the accompanist for the heats and for those who reach the finals concert which will be held on Tuesday 8th November at 7pm in the Orchestra Room. Good Luck!
