Over $600k raised for the Suli Niulala Memorial Scholarship | Thank you

Thank you Trinity | Over $600K raised from over 1,000 Donors

Overall our 2023 Giving Day raised $613,708 for the Suli Niulala Memorial Scholarship Fund, which exceeded our initial goal by over $100K.

Thank you to our 1039 donors, and many more members of our community who contributed, including:

• Our volunteer team who gave their time to made hundreds of calls for donations.
• Our VET Hospitality students who baked delicious boxes of food for our volunteers to enjoy.
• Our Ambassadors who recorded video messages of support that we were able to use to promote Giving Day on social media.
• The Niulala Family who gave their blessing and went above and beyond in supporting Giving Day with their time, effort and prayers.

‘Stand by me’ is debuted on Oval 1 in tribute to Suli

The day after Giving Day concluded, we debuted ‘Stand by me’ prior to our 1st VX Rugby home fixture against Knox Grammar School. As well as recognising Reconciliation Round, this was also an opportunity to debut our rendition of Suli’s anthem that he taught many of us and sung on many occasions.
