Trinity receives accreditation from The Circle Back Initiative
Trinity Grammar School is proud to have become a member of The Circle Back Initiative.
Applying for a new job position can be a taxing undertaking. From updating cover letters and résumés, to preparing for interviews – the process can take a lot of energy and a lot of time. The Circle Back Initiative was created in response to one of the biggest complaints they heard from candidates all over the world: hearing back from employers and agencies post-application or interview is very rare.
Those who are members of this initiative are employers who are committed to:
- Providing an ‘application received’ email to every applicant.
- Sending an outcome email, sms or other written communication to all unsuccessful applicants.
- Sending an outcome email, sms or other written communication to all online-assessed candidates.
- Providing all interviewed (face to face, or via live video) applicants with verbal outcome / feedback.
- Excluding certain terms from job adverts, such as ‘only shortlisted candidates / successful candidates will be contacted’
- Communicating all of the above through The Circle Back Initiative commitment statement in job adverts or application acknowledgement emails.
Passing through the accreditation process is a testament to Trinity’s care for those who apply for roles at the School – whether it be as academic or support staff.
“Trinity is pleased to be a Circle Back Initiative employer as we know the job application process is more than just a transaction,” says Belinda Reid, Head of Human Resources at Trinity. “It’s an emotional journey filled with hope, effort, and often frustration. People invest significant time and energy into their applications, and they deserve respect and acknowledgment.”
