Strings Soiree
Congratulations to all staff and students who were involved in the Strings Soiree last Monday night. The evening was a truly wonderful celebration of the depth of the string programme here at the Preparatory School and a credit to all involved. Thanks to Ms Chan for her organisation of this event and to Mr Kinda for accompanying some of the ensembles and all soloists. Special thanks also to Ben and Stephen from the Audio Visual Department from Summer Hill for supplying the sound and lighting and Marcomms for the Programme.
Studio Concerts
The Studio Concerts are coming so make sure you are prepared with your item ready to showcase your learning this semester in the Private Instrumental Music Programme. Thanks in advance to the accompanists who will devote many hours of rehearsals in the next few weeks and to the Instrumental Music Staff. The concerts will be held in in Weeks 6 and 7 in the Mozart Room as per the schedule below. Students will be expected to arrive at least 15 minutes prior for tuning and placement. All boys, except if your concert is held on a Thursday, are to perform in full winter uniform (this also includes black shoes/NO sandshoes). Letters were sent to parents this week.

Gala Concert
Trinity Singers and boys who are involved in the Symphony Orchestra will be involved in the Gala Concert to be held at the City Recital Hall on Thursday 16th June. Our first commitment is Thursday 2nd June at Summer Hill for the combined Junior School choirs with Symphonic Wind Band rehearsal. Permission letters detailing all the arrangements will be available soon.
