Poetry Recitation Finals Performances
Thanks to Ethan, Cayden, Marcus, Isaac and Ryan for playing during the adjudication deliberations at the Poetry Recitation finals that were held on Monday. Thanks to Mr Kinda for giving his time to accompany the boys.
Staffing
Ms Lorraine Chan after twelve years as the Strings Co-ordinator has decided to step down from this role and reduce her teaching days here at the Preparatory School as from week 5 to enable her to pursue other interests. I would like to thank her for her leadership of the Strings Programme and wish her all the best in her next adventure. Our String Programme is the envy of other schools and this is in no small way due to Lorraine’s leadership. I am pleased to announce that Ms Mandie Vieira will be taking up the Strings Co-ordinator position. Ms Vieira will also become the new Director of Mozart Strings and we wish her well in her new role. We also welcome Ms Anna Cross who will be joining us on a Wednesday and taking Corelli Strings rehearsals.
Studio Concerts
The Studio Concerts are coming so make sure you are prepared with your item ready to showcase your learning this semester in the Private Instrumental Music Programme. Thanks in advance to the accompanists who will devote many hours of rehearsals in the next few weeks and to the Instrumental Music Staff. The concerts will be held in In Weeks 6 and 7 in the Mozart Room as per the schedule below. Students will be expected to arrive at least 15 minutes prior for tuning and placement.

Gala Concert
Trinity Singers and members of the Summer Hill Symphony Orchestra will be involved in the Gala Concert to be held on Thursday 16th June at the City Recital Hall. Parental Permission notes will be sent when available so please check your inbox and junk inbox as the boys will be travelling offsite for rehearsals for this major school event.
Change to Music Co-curricular Rehearsals Term 3
As from Term 3 there will be a few changes to the Music Co-curricular Timetable:
Monday: 7:45am 8:25am Primary Choir (Beethoven Room) and Chapel Band (Mozart Room)
Wednesday: Trinity Singers ALL rehearsal 7:30am-8:25am (Mozart Room)
