Soloist Competition

The Preparatory School has twenty-six students entered in the Soloists Competition playing violin, cello, guitar, saxophone and piano. The following Heats for the Soloists Competition will be held at the Preparatory School in the Beethoven Room. Heat times for strings and piano being held at the Preparatory School were sent to parents yesterday from Mrs Fox, so please check emails for details. All other heats will be held at Summer Hill and you will be notified by Music Admin. These will be closed heats with no parents on site.

Instrumental Tuition

There are still vacancies in our fabulous Private Tuition Program for Percussion, Guitar, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Clarinet, Saxophone, Flute, Oboe, Piano, Violin, Viola, Cello and Double Bass tuition.  PK and K students can start with Piano, Percussion, Guitar, Violin, Viola and Cello. Year 1 and 2 Double Bass is added and by Year 3 all other woodwind and brass instruments are offered.  Tuition is $48 per weekly half hour lesson and some instruments are available for hire at a cost of $50 per term. Please complete the Music Enrolment Form and return to Mrs Campbell.

Trinity Singers

As COVID restrictions have eased we have made some slight changes (back to pre-COVID times) to the Rehearsal times for Trinity Singers. As from next week the following times will apply:

Monday | 7:30am to 8:25am (GYM)

Thursday Part 1 | 7:45am to 8:25am (MOZART ROOM)

Friday Part 2 | 7:45am to 8:25am (MOZART ROOM)

A reminder that students are to attend their two scheduled rehearsals a week otherwise they are not fulfilling their commitment to this ensemble and they are to bring to each rehearsal their folder of music as some boys are consistently arriving without them.

Trinity Singers is preparing for the Family Service, Easter Service, Anzac Day Service and Gala Concert so it is vital that the boys are in attendance.

Thanks so much for your patience and support and it is so encouraging that we can have a little more time to rehearse going forward.

Mrs Geraldine Campbell | Director of Preparatory School Music
